'The outstanding 2000 Hermitage Cuvee Emile (10,000 bottle produced) is one of the vintage's top Hermitages. A blend of fruit grown in the Rocoules (20%) and l'Hermite (80%) vineyards, it is a dense ruby/purple-colored effort displaying notes of licorice, fennel, sweet blackberry fruit, vanilla, and roasted coffee. Supple, fleshy, medium to full-bodied, and low in acidity, it is ideal for drinking over the next 10-15 years.'-Robert Parker
