'The 2000 Minervois Cuvee Vignales is the finest wine tasted to date from this up and coming Languedoc estate. Its dark color and red/black fruit-packed nose entices the taster. Thick, sweet, spicy blackberries, black raspberries, and dark cherries are intermingled with notes of garrigues (the sun-roasted herbs of southern France) in this excellent wine's personality. This is one sample that wasn't emptied down the drain after my tasting...I sucked it down a few hours later with a barbecued steak au poivre! Drink it over the next 5-6 years.'-Robert Parker
